Cybersecurity Analyst
Overview
GBSI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Cybersecurity Analyst in Huntsville, AL to provide support to the Information Assurance team by developing security policies, determining security posture, and utilizing tools such as ACAS and EMASS to manage information systems within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) structure.
Responsibilities
- Reviews ACAS scans for compliance;
- Tracks OPORDs and Task Orders ;
- Develops IA compliance reports;
- Utilizes EMASS for documentation management;
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agencies and internal customers;
- Researches and recommends / assists in improving processes;
- Must be able to communicate effectively with remote customers;
- Must be available to travel at least 10% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required; OR
- High school diploma and five (5) to twelve (12) years of relevant IT administration experience is required;
- DoD active Secret clearance is required at start;
- Required to possess and maintain current IAT Level II certification (Security+, GSEC, or SSCP or CCNS-Security);
- Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is required;
- Knowledge of Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) Scans is required;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing ability, is required;
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) is required.
