Salary / Hourly Rate :

$85k $90k

Position Overview :

As a Senior Accountant at our software client, you will be an integral part of the Financial team, overseeing critical accounting functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting the organization’s fiscal health.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :

• Financial Reporting : Senior Accountant will Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards.
• Budget Oversight : Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable : Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• General Ledger Maintenance : Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial records as Senior Accountant.
• Audit Support : Facilitate annual audits, coordinating with external auditors and the Senior Accountant will be providing necessary documentation and schedules.
• Compliance and Policies : Stay updated with accounting regulations and ensure the organization’s adherence to accounting standards and internal policies as Senior Accountant.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant :

Public accounting or CPA is a major plus.

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required for the Senior Accountant.
