Job Title : Special Education Teacher

Shift : Day 5x7.5-Hour (8 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM)
Duration : 40 weeks
Guarantee Hours : Up to 37 hours per week
Job Description :
We are seeking dedicated and passionate candidates for Special Education teaching positions in a junior high setting. The role involves working with students who require individualized support in a self-contained classroom or in co-taught environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instructional support in both self-contained and co-taught classrooms.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to support student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress and modify instruction as necessary.
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
Available Positions :
- One self-contained teaching position at the junior high level (7th grade ELA).
- One co-taught position for 4th grade.
- Additional positions available based on need.
Required License / Certification :
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (required).
