We seek an experienced, self-motivated "hunter" with 10+ years of sales experience in the automotive dealer and manufacturer industry to join our rapidly growing B2B SaaS company.

With a customer base that has doubled in the last six months, the company is perfectly positioned for accelerated growth and needs a dynamic VP of Sales to take it to the next level.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for identifying and developing strong relationships with target accounts, primarily focusing on the top 100 US Dealer Groups.

This role will work closely with the Founder to leverage existing industry relationships, set up meetings and demos with key stakeholders, and drive sales growth.

Worksite Location : Remote (with MN preference)

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Identify and target qualified new business leads within the automotive industry
  • Establish clear sales goals and metrics to measure success
  • Analyze the competitive marketplace and identify market trends
  • Collaborate with the Founder and board to develop customized presentations and sales materials
  • Qualify accounts based on ICP, key attributes, and fit
  • Provide accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team
  • Evaluate and adjust strategies to meet customers' needs
  • Manage CRM data for new and prospective clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and update target account lists

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 10+ years of proven experience and success in the Automotive Retail Space (selling to dealers or dealer groups)
  • Expertise in selling directly to automobile manufacturers with influence over dealer solution choices
  • Strong track record of maintaining relationships in the automotive dealer and manufacturing industry
  • Prior experience selling technology (software and hardware) to dealerships is strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with a highly independent personality
  • Proven ability to open doors and leverage existing client base (nearly 200 dealerships) for references
  • Experience creating, building, and executing plans for revenue growth
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and building / leading sales teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
