The intern will support the Senior Counsel for IT contracting, and who is also the data privacy manager in North America and a member of the global data privacy leadership team.

The Senior Counsel reports to the Global VP of Compliance and to the North America General Counsel.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

Provide legal support to IT and Technology groups in North America, which include reviewing and participating in the negotiation of contracts

• Draft and review data processing agreements and help to draft guidance on other privacy issues
• Conduct legal research and monitor requirements, trends and developments related to data (including telematics and personal data)
• Assist in the data privacy program administration, including data inventory and mapping
• Provide support in general compliance work

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a law degree, actively in law school in 1st or 2nd year of law school

This position will pay between $18-$35 / hour.
