Job Description
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and concentrates, ensuring effective management and monitoring of purchasing practices.
- Take charge of managing the performance of a diverse supplier base consisting of over 75 suppliers.
- Act as a driving force for continuous improvement initiatives, promoting methodologies and techniques within the relevant category, the company, and among suppliers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy that includes supplier selection, pricing analysis, and supplier performance evaluation.
Establish a structured end-to-end strategic sourcing process aimed at enhancing total cost, quality, and service through continuous improvement efforts.
- Create and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs), Quotes (RFQs), and Proposals (RFPs).
- Evaluate and summarize vendor proposals to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate item pricing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other systems.
- Manage supplier documentation, including contracts, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and pricing agreements.
- Conduct initial reviews of all indirect contracts.
- Lead the onboarding process for new vendors within the raw materials category.
- Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the VP of Procurement.
- Collaborate with accounts payable and stakeholders to reconcile vendor invoices.

The Successful Applicant
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing annual raw material expenditures surpassing $100 million.
- Familiarity with raw material markets.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management proficiency's.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Capable of thriving both in team settings and independently.
