Job Qualifications
To be considered for the Executive Pastry Chef position at our Italian steakhouse in Scottsdale, AZ, candidates must meet the following qualifications :
- Experience : A minimum of 2 years as a pastry chef in an upscale restaurant.

Job Responsibilities
As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will have a pivotal role in shaping our dessert menu and overall dining experience for guests.
The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for the following duties at our upscale Italian steakhouse in Scottsdale, AZ :
- Menu Development : Create and develop dessert menus that complement our Italian steakhouse concept.
- Ingredient Sourcing : Select high-quality ingredients and manage supplier relationships.
- Team Management : Lead, train, and manage the pastry team to ensure excellence in all dessert offerings.
- Quality Control : Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Budget Management : Work within budgetary constraints to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive dining experience.
- Sanitation : Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Innovation : Stay updated with industry trends and continuously introduce new and exciting dessert offerings.
- Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and plating styles.
- Flexibility : Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (closed Sundays).
