Position : Accounts Payable Accountant (Real Estate)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Real Estate and Development company to fill a temporary Accounts Payable Accountant position.
This position sits in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn and will require someone to be in the office five days per week. We are searching for someone with previous experience within the Real Estate sector.

Responsibilities :
Matching invoices to purchase orders, coding accurately, and entering into the MRI system
Managing weekly check run (along with the AP team) and ensuring checks are being cut from the appropriate property bank accounts
Ensuring vendor information is up to date and retrieving necessary W9 forms / info
Communicating with internal departments to verify purchase orders, invoices, and responding to vendor inquiries timely
Assisting with preparing AP financial reports for Accounting / Finance team
Eventually, preparing and posting AP related journal entries including adjusting entries
Reconciling a high volume of property bank accounts monthly
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory
Experience Requirements
3+ years of high volume Accounts Payable experience
1+ year of experience within the Real Estate sector
Schedule :
5 days in office, with eventual flexibility to be hybrid (1 day remote)
Employment Type : Temporary, open-ended. Potential to evolve into a permanent role.
