Job Summary

Who we are : The Global Devices Organization is responsible for managing and developing device strategy and product roadmaps for all Comcast and Sky devices.

Our charter as a team is to develop and deploy devices that enhance our customers' in-home WiFi experience. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining the future of the in-home Wi-Fi experience.

This will involve working with industry silicon providers and other internal stakeholders to collaborate on desired features and functionality for our customers.

The importance of broadband connectivity has become increasingly apparent, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to :

  • Serve as a product manager and drive key broadband initiatives to deployment.
  • Drive and ensure alignment with all product stakeholders regarding product specifications and objectives.
  • Stay current on the technology and market trends; forecast opportunities and threats to our businesses.
  • Perform competitive research and analyses and keep the rest of the team abreast through industry / competitive / technology briefs.
  • Contribute to the product vision across the team and the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and lead product roadmaps and deliver on them.
  • Define requirements for new products, features, and use cases; define acceptance criteria for each.
  • Assist with the development of business cases for new features.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering and program leads to ensure alignment between technical, business, and field teams on product features and releases.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure a go-to-market strategy is defined and in place before a new device launch.
  • Keep track of product performance through data collection and analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in product management, design, or development, preferably within a technical industry
  • Passion to build an outstanding customer experience with technology that connects people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
