The Fine Art Underwriter position is a mix of underwriting and underwriting assistant duties. You will be responsible for technical underwriting and assistant functions associated with underwriting Fine Art risks.

We are open to training in the fine art space and will consider candidates with high net worth underwriting experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join us and grow your career.

Key duties include, but are not limited to : Responsibilities : Review policies to quote renewal business; bind renewal and new business within designated authority in a timely manner.

Endorsements that fall within underwriting authority and company guidelines. Refer risks to senior staff when appropriate with underwriting recommendations.

Review risk management and application information to correctly rate and price coverage offerings with proper subjectivities per underwriting guidelines.

Partner with brokers with focus building strong relationships. Understand risk appetite and apply that knowledge to risk selection and pricing.

Collaborate with manager and colleagues. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Minimum 3+ years of technical desk underwriting experience (HNW, inland marine, property, fine art) Exceptional oral and written communication skills that are flexible to the situation;

communicate clearly and with purpose. Excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks. Comfort working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Strong sense of accountability. An analytical mind to dive into the details of an account to build pricing and coverage that meet underwriting guidelines, profitability models and customer needs.
