POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Contract Administrator plays a key role in safeguarding our company's interests throughout the entire contract lifecycle.

You will create and implement a comprehensive contract administration process, serve as the central point of contact for all contract matters, and ensure compliance through expert negotiation and review.

This role offers the opportunity to provide internal training, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with legal counsel to deliver successful project outcomes.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following :

  • Create, implement and maintain a comprehensive company-wide contract administration process throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Serve as point of contact for all contract related issues
  • Review, comment and negotiate appropriate contract types and their terms and conditions, interfacing regularly with internal and external customers
  • Provide internal training, coaching and mentoring regarding contact administration
  • Prepare contracts and contract documents, such as subconsultant agreements, AIA software, MSA's, exhibits, amendments, change orders, NDA's and COI's
  • Coordinate with outside legal counsel for meeting scheduling, contract review, redlines and strategy
  • Direct the entry of contracts in the ERP software, scanning and archival of documents

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

  • 5+ years of construction and / or engineering contract experience
  • Experience drafting, writing and negotiating contracts
  • Experience in creating and maintaining policies, procedures and process related to contract administration
  • Detail oriented and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within established timeframes
  • Enhanced organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Ability to establish rapport and effectively advise all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work with confidential data and maintain privacy
  • Ability to professionally voice concerns and effectively deal with conflict
  • Positive can-do attitude and continual learner
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

Preferred :

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related degree
  • Experience using Contract Management (AIA) software, CRM and ERP software

Office and Travel :

May be minimal travel between office locations.
