Preferred Qualifications
Position : As a Logistics Digital Transformation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the digitalization of our logistics operations.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to leverage technology, data analytics, and automation to optimize logistics processes and deliver value to our internal and external customers.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Digital Strategy Development :
Develop and complete a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap for logistics operations.
Identify key areas for improvement and innovation in logistics processes through technology adoption (ERP, BI, Analytics).
Process Optimization :
Analyze current logistics workflows and find opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
Lead process re-engineering initiatives to streamline transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
Technology Implementation :
Evaluate, select, and implement logistics technology solutions (e.g., TMS, WMS) to optimize operations.
Oversee the integration of digital tools to enhance transparency, track shipments, and improve real-time decision-making.
Data Analytics and Performance Monitoring :
Apply data analytics to operationalize our business functions, including freight, service logistics, and manufacturing logistics.
Establish performance metrics and KPIs to supervise the impact of digital initiatives on logistics efficiency and cost savings.
Change Management and Training :
Drive organizational change by promoting a culture of innovation and digital readiness within the logistics team.
Provide training and support to logistics staff on new technologies and processes to ensure successful adoption.
Collaboration and Partner Management :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, procurement) to align digital initiatives with business objectives.
Build positive relationships with external partners (carriers, vendors, technology providers) to improve logistics capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications : MBA
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Confirmed experience in logistics operations management or digital transformation roles.
- Five years of experience in digital solutions and 3 years' of management experience.
- Understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting; Experienced with BI tools and ERP systems.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead sophisticated digital transformation projects from concept to execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal (IT) and external partners.
- Strategic problem solver with a results-driven attitude and a passion for motivating change through technology.
