Technical Support Engineer - Integrations (Hybrid Santa Clara, CA)
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for a large, global B2B high-tech company. This role will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues and escalation for the customer and providing technical guidance in addressing their business needs.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities :
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for managing and resolving challenging issues for ServiceNow partners and customers.
This includes developing subject matter expertise within the technical support department.
- The engineer is responsible for owning and resolving issues daily created by customers seeking help to understand or resolve an unexpected behavior or answer technical questions about the ServiceNow software and platform.
- Support engineers use the ServiceNow platform via an internal implementation of its tools to diagnose and solve customer issues reported.
- This is a customer-facing role in a very collaborative environment and therefore it requires strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements :
- Strong knowledge on LDAP / ActiveDirectory, SSO or other authentication or user management systems (. Azure AD, Okta. SAML, SiteMinder)
- Strong Understanding of EmailInfrastructure (. Exchange, Office 365, Postfix)
- Advance knowledge on WebServices (consuming or providing) (SOAP, REST)
- Strong working knowledge on Network infrastructure
- Hands on experience in anybi-directional, automated integration between two systems
- DataExtraction Technologies (. JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations
- Strong Experience in one (or more) scripting languages : JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
- Strong Experience with relational databases (. MySQL, Oracle).
- Strong Experience using Linux / Unix OR Microsoft Server
