We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Director / Vice President of Patient and Community Engagement. This is a new role, in our Medical Solutions Division reporting to our Global Head of Medical Solutions.

Position Summary : The Sr. Director / Vice President of Patient and Community
Engagement will lead initiatives to enhance patient and community engagement for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This role requires extensive experience in building, selling, contracting, and managing nurse and allied health professional teams with our internal partners.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, astute, and possess a high degree of understanding and experience acumen in the pharmaceutical and Nurse Educator environment.
An in-depth understanding of both field pharmaceutical Nurse Educator programs and or pharmaceutical Nurse Educator patient support programs within the US.
Strategically partner with pharmaceutical companies to improve patient access to medications and services. This role reports to the Global Head of Amplity Medical, requires both strategic and tactical expertise and is a manager of first- and
second-line leaders.
Key Responsibilities :
Hire, lead and coach Nurse Educator Medical Managers and National Program
Directors (Field or Virtual) to foster a high-performance culture.
Recognize and reward achievements while encouraging a cohesive team
environment.
- Motivate and develop teams towards shared goals.
- Collaborate with HR to address performance and employee relations issues.
- Understand co-employment laws and work with HR to manage risks.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition when hiring Nurse Educator teams.
- Create business reviews, presentations, and reports for clients and Senior
Leadership.
Implement KPIs and metrics for high-performing teams and assess team
performance to provide insights for client programs.
- Execute processes to ensure operational efficiency of Medical Solutions teams.
- Lead the division within budgetary constraints and contribute to financial
planning and control, while forecasting financial data when applicable.
- Demonstrate ROI for all team activities.
- Identify and develop strategies to enhance, and initiate growth opportunities in
patient and community engagement.
Advance nurse teams programs to ensure quality care and outreach initiatives
are demographically appropriate.
Align engagement strategies with organizational goals and represent medical
teams within the US Medical Solutions business.
Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal Amplity
stakeholders and appropriate healthcare providers and community
organizations.
Partner with Business Development to leverage industry contacts to secure new business.
Qualifications :
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required
- Advanced degree i.e MSN, MBA, a strong plus
- A minimum of 10 years nursing / medical experience required
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
required
Pharmaceutical nurse management experience with an understanding of patient
support programs and or field-based nurse teams required
- Combined People Management experience of 5+ years, to include : 2-3 years direct management of second line leadership (Managing Managers) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical compliance and regulations
- Demonstrated management of budgetary and financial operations experience
- Successful execution into contracting, building, and managing nurse teams
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to maintain positive
relationships with relevant stakeholders in client organizations
Experience with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) focused on Field Nurse
Educator teams strongly preferred
Proven proficiency to lead successful Field-based Nurse teams or Patient
support teams required
Innovative and solution-driven mindset to drive change, generate actionable
goals and champion business improvements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence
and negotiate effectively at all levels
Abreast of industry trends and share best practices to drive growth and
sustainability
- Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment needed
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including PowerPoint, Teams and other
technical platforms Zoom, etc., required
- Ability to travel US; up to 50% and nationally as needed
- Valid US Driver's License with safe driving record required
