- Experience with labor laws, food safety, and important compliance and regulations
- Excellent communication skills across all levels (staff, ownership, guests, vendors)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
- Strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
The nice to haves :
- Time spent in the trenches of Michelin-starred restaurants or other high-performing environments where excellence is a way of life
- Previous experience with restaurant openings, product launches, or large scale project management
- A love affair with wine and beverages - whether you're a certified sommelier or just passionate about learning
- Experience in the world of luxury hospitality where every detail matters
- A food journey that might include culinary school, time in kitchens, or adventures meeting farmers and producers
- Experience with special events and private dining management
- A genuine passion for sustainability and supporting local producers
