The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
The Director will lead ongoing efforts to raise the visibility of the Executive and MHA Program within the healthcare and public health
professional community, interact with local, state and national healthcare organizations, and attend national conferences and local events that promote the Program (ACHE, AUPHA, ASPPH, APHA, HLNY).
S / he will lead HPM's management programs, including the full-time MHA, part-time MHA and Executive management program.
Responsibilities include curriculum development, program management, including budget, marking and communications, recruiting and
admissions, and advising. Further, s / he will manage CAHME and CEPH accreditation as required for management students, including regular competency tracking and assessment and annual reports and surveys.
The Director will also coordinate strategic projects as related to HPM's management programs. This position will have broad decision-making purview and engage with senior leadership across the Mailman School and Columbia University.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in health administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in academia, healthcare administration, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in program management, curriculum development, strategic planning, and evaluation. Strong understanding of trends, issues, and best practices in healthcare administration and executive education, and desire to participate in related associations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
Experience in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and leadership.
- This position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office. Further, it requires flexibility to work different schedules, including some evenings or weekends during the year.
