Staffing Coordinator
The TRA Staffing Coordinator will report On-Site every day and is responsible for coordination of daily staffing within our nationwide hospital system.
This is a full-time 3 : 30 pm to 12 : 00 am position reporting ONSITE every day to our staffing office in Coconut Creek, FL
Hours are 3 : 30 pm to Midnight
This is an Administrative, Service Oriented Coordinator position staffing our existing clinican base into daily open orders;
this is not a Recruiting role*
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
- Contact facilities regarding progress toward filling outstanding staffing orders.
- Ensure that approval is obtained for all overtime booked and document the approval.
- Coordinates confirmation process prior to the start of the confirmed shift
- Re-routes all cancelled clinicians.
- Communicate staff changes to the appropriate parties
- Ensure all work orders are maintained in the system, closed with accurate reasons, and appropriate departments are notified.
- Documents all staffing requests and provides detail notes on all shift activity
- Addresses all action items outlined in the staffing office’s shared email box
- Reply’s to all client and TRA clinical employee communications, and voice messages
- Answers all phone calls.
- Ensures employees comply with regulatory and TRA / Corporate directives, policies and procedures.
- Forwards Corrective Actions and facility’s concerns to TRA chain of command.
- Serves as Liaison between staff, vendors and facilities
- Establishes a harmonious relationship with facilities through cooperative contacts.
- Maintains confidentiality and appropriate access of all employee information.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience
Minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative environment with high volume inbound and outbound telephone calls, heavy entry of data into various computer platforms while referencing details and using multiple computer screens.
Preferred Experience
Staffing in a high-volume staffing environment or staffing coordinator experience in an agency or hospital enironment.
