Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GN&C System Integration & Test Manager 3 . This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program .

What You ' ll Get To Do :
Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a GN&C System Integration & Test Manager 3 to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals.
This manager will lead a diverse team of Electrical, Mechanical, Simulation, and Software Engineers developing and using the GBSD Guidance and Aerospace Vehicle Element (AVE) Laboratories.
The manager is responsible for leading Guidance System and Power & Distribution System test bed design; development of laboratory real-time, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations and test equipment;
and establishing verification and validation strategy approach. The manager is also responsible for leading system integration and performance test planning and execution in the Guidance and AVE Laboratories and in Enhanced Ground Test (EGT).
This role requires the lead to perform both functional and program management responsibilities which includes staffing, career development, functional support to enable team success, cost account management, and scope ownership.
The individual will collaborate with Systems Engineering, GN&C Analysis & Algorithms, Guidance Computer, NIMS, Software, System Test, Command & Launch, and PBACM teams.
This position supports the FST System Integration & Test Lead and reports directly to the GN&C IPT Lead.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications :
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 6 years with a Masters.
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead / management position
- Experience with system or subsystem test and integration in engineering laboratory environment
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :
- US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
- Knowledge of Agile approaches and Model-Based Engineering (MBE)
- Experience as a functional manager
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
- Prior experience leading teams of 10+ members
- Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent written, verbal, organization and presentation skills
- Demonstrated record of collaboration among multiple teams, disciplines, and suppliers
- Familiarity with aircraft or space guidance, navigation and control systems
- Familiarity with role of real-time simulators in HWIL usage
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application
- Knowledge of configuration management best practices, scheduling, and cost estimation
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and to meet program commitments in a highly concurrent engineering environment
- Ability to maneuver effectively through political situations, and anticipate & remove roadblocks.
- Working knowledge of guidance and control, navigation, power, and distribution systems

Salary Range : $141,900 - $212,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
