Secondary Teacher of Health and Social Care Broadstairs
Academics, Canterbury are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher to join a school in Broadstairs, Kent as a full-time Health and Social Care Teacher.
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and prepare them for further studies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching of Health and Social Care curriculum to students
- Consistently assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students
- Contribute to the continued development of the Health and Social Care curriculum and school policies
Requirements :
- Relevant qualifications (ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Health and Social Care or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
