This SAE role is a full-time position focused on the CSR team’s environmental and sustainability portfolio. Although the practice is based out of Finn’s New York office, the Managing Partner is amenable to the SAE working from another geographic area, (see website for Finn Partners USA office locations).
I. Job Summary :
This position in the Finn Partners’ CSR & Social Impact team provides an opportunity to work on social impact and sustainability campaigns for major corporations, non-profits and global foundations and advance social good through integrated communications and marketing.
The ideal candidate will have strong media relations background and experience in the CSR or nonprofit space. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be a key member of our tight-knit, collaborative and highly motivated team engaged in a range of assignments spanning earned media relations, publicity-driven events and account management / reporting.
You will be an active contributor to the quality work and earned media outcomes we generate daily for an array of clients.
Specific responsibilities will include intensive media pitching; securing consistent media coverage across a wide range of sustainability, business, environmental trade, consumer, and news publications;
building and maintaining strong relationships with press and executive client contacts; developing assets (Press Releases, Pitches, Fact Sheets, Media Briefings, etc.
that will pique media interest; admin and reporting for clients and actively participating in team brainstorms and staff meetings.
Senior Account Executives also will contribute to thought leadership strategy / writing; new business presentations and assist with client management / counsel.
You will come equipped with strong media contacts and proven track record securing national media placements; experience in client relations;
excellent writing skills; and strong attention to detail.
