Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Area IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure of our Hospitality client in New York and Chicago properties.
This role is crucial in handling IT Day to Day Operation and IT Projects, ensuring smooth daily operations, and implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance guest experiences across both locations.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily IT operations, including system support for hotel and office users.
- Oversee the performance of all IT systems, including PMS, POS, connectivity, and security.
- Conduct weekly department meetings, ensuring high levels of system functionality and resolving issues quickly.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance, with a focus on system integrations, upgrades, and installations.
- Handle network management, including firewall maintenance, remote access, and access control.
- Maintain records, ensure compliance with data security regulations, and lead feasibility studies for new system installations.
- Support ticketing systems, maintain all inventory records, and facilitate equipment setup for new staff.
Profile Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years' higher education in IT (5 years preferred) with a strong engineering background.
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Server (latest and earlier versions).
- Advanced knowledge of Opera PMS (including OXI and IFC support), Symphony POS, Sage accounting, and video surveillance systems.
- Familiarity with 3CX telephone systems, IPBX, and Tiger billing systems.
- Skilled in managing RFID systems, TV / VOD, internet access, and payment processors (Worldline is a plus).
- General knowledge of cybersecurity, firewall management, and project monitoring tools.
- Network Skills :
- Expertise in network management, including firewall configuration, remote access, and switch administration.
- Experience with VPN clients, VLAN configurations, and network security.
