Senior Product Designer

Our client, a leading innovator in pet healthcare, is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to pets. They specialize in comprehensive insurance solutions and wellness plans that focus on extending and enhancing the quality of life for cats and dogs.

By leveraging top-tier veterinary medicine and personalized care, they plan to contribute significantly to life-saving treatments in the upcoming years.

They're in need of a Senior Product Designer to join a team dedicated to creating intuitive and engaging experiences for both pet owners and pets, enhancing every interaction with the client's brand.

As part of the product design team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups including Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Underwriting to develop innovative product features and enhancements.

Your role will be critical in prioritizing strategic initiatives, executing design solutions, and maintaining the visual and functional integrity of the client's products.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of professional design experience in-house or at a startup.
• Exceptional skills in UX and UI design, capable of delivering polished and compelling visual work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Miro.
• Strong understanding of product design strategy and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to translate user insights and problems into clear design solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities :

• Design end-to-end experiences for claims adjusters, pet owners, and pets, ensuring these solutions drive business results.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure product consistency.
• Partner closely with engineering to oversee the product development cycle and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to their professional growth.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new technologies to enhance the design process.
