As an Associate Food Technologist, you’ll create delicious and nutrious food products with one of the world's leading taste teams.
You will collaborate with cross-funtional tehnical experts, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to support customers and directly impact the quality of our products helping to improve real lives.

Your key responsibilities
- Create savory food product formulations, including meat protein applications to showcase dsm-firmenich flavors, ingredients, technologies, and innovations
- Support senior food technologists in the development and execution of projects across a variety of savory food categories
- Collaborate with customers via interactive hands-on benchtop working sessions
- Partner with Chefs and Flavorists and other Food Technologists to evaluate and explore dsm-firmenich flavors and ingredients in order to find solutions for our customer needs

You bring
- Bachelor of Science in Food Science / Science / Science Technology or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in the food industry; experience in meat applications and / or culinary experience a plus.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ingredient functionality, food formulation, food process unit operations, and end-user foodservice operations;
knowledge of meat processing a plus.
- Ability to travel to customers in North America
- Ability to work in kitchen, lab and pilot plant environments; experience in a commercial kitchen a plus.
- Knowledge and practice of GMPs and other FSMA requirements in kitchens, labs, and pilot plant. ServeSafe certified is a plus
