Position Title (Classification Title) : Student Assistant Working Title : Athletic Student Assistant Job Summary :
Student employees are an extremely vital part of the Athletics department. Students work in a variety of roles including but not limited to Game Operations, Marketing, Ticketing and Athletic Communications.
Duties include but not limited to : Facility Set-up and Clean-up, Mopper, Ushers, Greeters, Ticket Scanners, Ticket Sales, In Game Promotions and Ball Retrievers, Visiting Team Host, Official / Referee Host, Broadcast, Video Production, Camera Operators, Photography, Table Staff / Stats, and Graphic and Motion Design.
All staff helps ensure safety and security of participants and spectators at home events.
DepartmentIntercollegiate Athletics FLSA : Non-Exempt Minimum Qualifications : Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit.
Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration / fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.
Must be available to work all home athletic events in the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar. Position Qualifications : - Must display tactfulness in dealing with the public and be able to do so without supervision.
