Help each other achieve greatness, be genuine, attentive, and flexible, and know the property and amenities. Summary of Functions Conducts Sports Wagering in gambling establishment by performing duties listed below.
Performs guest service function by processing wagers from casino guests. May also be required to perform Off Track Betting duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
- Learn basic tickets and how to condition them. Recondition each ticket if it is changed.
- Receives, verifies and records cash wagers of guests.
- Redeems winning tickets.
- Scans winning tickets presented by guests, calculates amount of winnings and pays guests.
- Maintains accurate ticket and cash transactions.
- Maintains high quality guest service and guest rapport.
- Ensure control / protection of company assets.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
- May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience
- Two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1-year prior experience in working with public in a cash-handling environment. Skills
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other computer software (POS system).
- Ability to handle cash accurately.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management and team members.
- Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions. Other Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License.
- Title 31 regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a math test.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels. Physical Demands
