The ideal candidate will be the primary support for all leave of absence cases and workers’ compensation claims. Effectively coordinates all cases and claims to include general administration, comprehensive case management and program compliance with FMLA and all related employment laws.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage reporting for workers’ compensation claims, leave of absence and insurance payments.
- Process required documents through insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions while employees are on leave of absence.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employees’ questions regarding workers’ compensation and

- Manage insurance payments and process for employees out on work comp and other leave of
- Administer and maintain all aspects of FMLA, leave and worker’s compensation programs. Provide extensive case management and coordinate administrative aspects of the cases and claims.
Conduct / coordinate investigations into all reported workers’ compensation claims as
- Independently approve and / or deny leave cases based on relevant medical
- Ensures that all reportable workers’ compensations claims are submitted to the company’s insurance carrier within 24 hours from the date of the incident.
In addition, follow up daily on all open claims to ensure the employee returns to work in a timely manner and setup any alternative work as
- Manage all administrative aspects of FMLA, leave and workers’ compensations claims to include tracking hours used / taken in HRIS system and working closely with Payroll to ensure that pay for the employees are accurate and
- Handle ADA accommodations as requested
- Managers STD / LTD programs and vendor Ensures that STD and LTD claims are coordinated with FMLA or general medical cases and completes employer portion related information.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field, with minimum 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources role or combined equivalent of professional and HR experience
- Experience using Ultimate Software or similar HRIS systems- preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Strong understanding of discretion and confidentiality
