What you'll do In this role, you will be a highly visible leader and operator playing a key role in defining how we beta test our most important innovations with customers.

You will work on topics that range from defining our product beta testing strategy to the nuts and bolts of beta operations.

As the Beta Operations Manager, you will build and own a scalable internal & customer-facing model for product beta testing in close collaboration with teams across Product, Growth, Field, and Operations.

You will guide Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Technical Program Managers and others on how to plan, implement, and learn from beta tests to increase the impact of our product innovation.

Responsibility Shape our beta program strategy with priorities, standards, operations, and governance Develop and socialize beta testing best practices, based on internal and external research, iterating as we learn and grow Develop and manage resources, tools, and processes that support best practices in beta testing, such as training materials, entry / exit criteria and checklists, communication channels, and dashboards Design beta progress reviews, engaging with senior leadership across the organization, including the Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer Provide expert guidance to product teams as they plan and design individual beta tests, including objective setting, considerations of participant volume and profile, cohorts, recruitment / invitation tactics, and measurement of success Develop processes and tools for beta initiative intake and tracking, providing insights across multiple platforms to enhance cross-functional visibility and adoption Partner with Insights and Analytics teams to ensure outcomes are measured through an established measurement framework that aligns with key customer outcomes and business decisions Identify and call out risks and decisions needed to improve findings from beta tests, enhance the customer experience, and improve General Availability launch success Monitor and report on key operational metrics, identify areas for improvement, and design and operationalize initiatives to drive continuous improvement Job Designation Hybrid : Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work.

Access to an office location is required. (Frequency : Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role / job.

What you bring Basic BS / BA degree or equivalent in work experience 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a management consulting, strategy & operations, or program management role Previous work experience in SaaS and / or customer innovation programs Preferred Passion for experimentation and learning from customers;

education or professional background in statistics, experimental design, user research, or related field is a plus Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with teams across the organization Knows enough to be dangerous regarding the product development process (testing environments, agile methodologies, etc.

  • Agile attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and taking a first stab at how to approach a new question Active listener, able to effectively moderate discussions between product management, go-to-market leaders, and executives to drive consensus Strong steward of our values, customers, and business;

able to provide constructive feedback to improve program results Talented at simplifying complex content, decisions, and processes Ability to identify and articulate operational risks that may impact product delivery timelines and quality Comfort in synthesizing business requirements and guiding technical partners to develop or improve operational workflows, reports, and dashboards Proficient in Salesforce, Google Sheets, and Google Slides Experience with SQL, Confluence / Jira and / or Tableau is a plus Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations : California : $134,900.00 - $216,975.

00 base salary Illinois : $129,000.00 - $182,250.00 base salary Washington : $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
