Job Description
The CT Technologist will conduct a diverse range of routine and advanced imaging procedures using computerized tomography equipment.
This role may involve providing support to other imaging technologists as necessary. Behavior and communication must align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate proficiency in relevant Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Conduct various diagnostic procedures, including some complex ones, using advanced computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Exhibit competence in initiating and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and operating high-speed, pressurized injection equipment.
- Assess patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications.
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures throughout the workday to ensure high-quality patient care and workflow continuity.
- Be willing and able to rotate within departments and clinics to provide adequate coverage.
- Assist Radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures using CT equipment for precise anatomical localization.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures, adhering to infection control standards.
- Ensure accurate coding and entry of all charges.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet individual needs across various dimensions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and refrain from disclosing confidential information unless necessary for job duties.

Must Have's :
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- Experience :
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required; preferred 3 years in a clinical imaging setting.
- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required.
- ARRT registration in CT required.
- Current state licensure required.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
