Description :

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the Front Side development of electric commercial cooking platforms.

This position will be working with the sales department, design consultants and executive chefs in developing, designing, testing and supervising, when necessary, the manufacturing of new electric cooking concepts.

Requirements :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing electrical systems
• Scheduling electrical construction and maintenance projects
• Reviewing electrical engineering plans, specifications and reports
• Conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment
• Collaborating with engineers and technicians
• Repairing and performing quality control of electrical equipment
• Providing electrical engineering support to the assigned projects
• Providing technical leadership to employees and contractors

Qualifications

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for this position :

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer and electrical systems design preferred
• Familiarity with electrical systems and working on controls systems
• Understanding of electrical engineering safety standards
• Electronics troubleshooting knowing how to analyze, approach and repair electronic circuits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Strong multitasking skills
• Experience with restaurant equipment is strongly preferred

Language Skills

• Fluent in written and verbal English
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
• Able to communicate persuasively, and clearly communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audiences across all levels within the company

Reasoning Ability

• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Able to discern key drivers and priorities of development projects

Strong to expert-level knowledge is required in the following :

Physical Demands
