ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description

General Responsibilities :

• Assist Office Manager and Department Managers with special projects / tasks
• Follow-up with clients on pending proposals
• Geotechnical Department :
• Proposals
• Register all proposals and save documents in proposal folder
• Draft proposal per Engineer direction for content
• May include Pricing Tool entry
• Generate contract document (Agreement, Task Order, Supplement)
• Assemble final proposal after Engineer edits

Projects :

• Draft Exploration Package for review by Engineer
• Maintain Project Milestones in PX
• Generate all invoices with limits
• Draft report template per Engineer direction for content
• Upload deliverables to CDW for APR review / approval

Materials Department :

• Proposals
• Register all proposals and download / save documents in proposal folder
• Draft proposal per Project Manager direction for content
• May include Pricing Tool entry
• Generate contract document (Agreement, Task Order, Supplement)
• Assemble final proposal after Project Manager edits

Provide assistance on Projects

• Update plans and specs
• Help generate invoices for Project Manager to review
• Upload reports to client websites

Manage Technician training records and help on lab calibrations

• Update Quality Manual
• Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
• Manage process and reporting

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline practices by the Firm including Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology and a minimum of 2 years' related experience.

Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years' related experience.

Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
