Key Responsibilities
- Kitchen Management : Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating standards, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
- Safety and Compliance : Maintain stringent food quality, hygiene, and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Cost Management : Manage inventory, control food costs, and develop strategies to maximize profitability.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high performance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Industry Trends : Stay abreast of industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques to continuously improve our offerings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role, with a strong portfolio of culinary innovation and excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, ingredients, and cooking techniques, demonstrating a passion for creativity and high-quality dining experiences.
- Comprehensive understanding of kitchen management, including inventory control, budgeting, and cost management to maximize profitability.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Commitment to maintaining stringent food quality, hygiene, and safety standards, with extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the restaurant industry.
- Experience in menu planning, development, and execution tailored to a specific restaurant brand, with a focus on both presentation and taste.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not essential if experience and skills meet the required standard.
