Position : SDET Qa Automation ( W2 Role No c2c or 1099)
Skillset required : Java, Selenium , Cucumber , Strong Gherkin
Locations : Jersey City, NJ Hybrid.
Interview : 2 rounds , 2nd round onsite / in-person strongly preferred *will have java code on interview
As an Automation Engineer, the candidate will be required to provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by automating the various test phases in SDLC as much as possible.
The role will involve working with business, product team and other program stakeholders.
The role will include the following major functions / responsibilities :
- Use tools like JIRA to document software requirements in Gherkin format using cucumber framework that will help in test driven development and test automation.
- Design Test Scenarios and develop test plan for System integration testing and User acceptance testing
- Develop software that will be used in automation of the quality assurance phase of Company Wealth Management Servicing Platform that includes multiple internal facing web applications, middleware services and databases.
- Develop test automation software using Selenium web-driver, Rest assured Java framework for the user interface and the APIs (Application programming interface) for the various Company Wealth Management Servicing platform features.
- Evaluate and identify the right automation tool and framework for new features.
- Develop code to execute the automation test suite and generate the test execution report as part of CI / CD (Continuous integration and Continuous deployment) pipeline.
- Produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code. Must also support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises.
- Perform regression testing for every release to ensure the new code is not negatively impacting existing functionalities.
Automate the regression test cases to speed up future code deployments.
- Ensure coverage of all aspects of application testing and test automation
