Faraday Microgrids is a renewable energy microgrid EPC on the front lines of developing and building highly advanced renewable energy systems for commercial and industrial applications.
Our primary client base is in the healthcare industry, specifically hospitals. Dealing with critical facilities in this manner makes it all the more important that our projects are executed in a highly organized, efficient, and safe manner.
We are seeking a qualified construction project engineer / coordinator to join our team and help support our growth as we look to take on some very large projects and expand our team.
As a project engineer / coordinator with the Faraday team, you will be crucial to the successful management and execution of our projects.
Working directly for the project manager, you will assist with scheduling, contracts, project design, procurement, construction management, and stakeholder management.

This is a full-time, fully remote salary position. We offer a competitive benefits package for which all full-time employees are eligible.
This position may require travel to job sites or other potential job sites. Although this position is fully remote, you must be located in California to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Prepare invoicing for project billings and progress reports
- Track and summarize project expenses and report to the project manager
- Coordination, distribution, collection, and analysis of project RFPs
- Project takeoffs and estimating
- Tracking permit status, comments, revisions, and submissions
- Create and distribute meeting minutes
- Communicate with owners, consultants, vendors and subcontractors
- Create and manage project closeout documentation
- Manage O&M teams for completed projects
- Maintain the project schedule
- Manage all activities related to Procore, including setting up projects, RFIs, submittals, drawings, documents, etc.
- Assist project manager with tracking and vetting potential subcontractors and / or vendors as well as setting up and executing the bid process
- Assist project manager with preparing and tracking change orders
Prior Experience :
- Minimum 2 years of related commercial and / or industrial experience
- Preference will be given for experience in the energy industry
- Bachelors degree in construction management, electrical, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lieu of a bachelors degree
Software Experience :
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Project
- Procore preferred
Salary and Benefits :
- $60k - $80k annual salary (actual salary will be based on experience and qualifications)
