Director of Quality, Performance Improvement, Risk needed for healthcare organization.
Candidates must have strong experience and results as a Director in a general acute care setting for at least 10+ years with strong results.
Must be an RN, hold a Master's degree, CPHQ preferred, and have strong leadership experience in Quality Improvement / Performance Improvement.
Steady work history is required. Six Sigma certification is preferred.
This position reports to the VP of Quality and will have overall hospital-wide Quality Improvement responsibilities.
The Director will be responsible for the development, direction, and effective implementation of a comprehensive hospital-wide performance improvement, peer review program, outcomes management, external reporting, and patient safety systems.
Key performance components include :
- Clinical process improvement and team management across all departments.
- Lead all CMPI direction in collaboration with VP, CQO, and AQOs.
- Expertise in data / information management, protection, presentation, and benchmarking.
- Lead medical staff peer review management as documented in By Laws and PI plan.
- DNV and other regulatory compliance for quality of care.
- Registry oversight, budgeting, and staffing for quality improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Support departmental quality resources as entity expert and partner.
- Participate with system quality leadership to gain competency and effectiveness in organization-wide initiatives as prescribed in strategic plan.
