They are actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team at their Philadelphia location. The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will play a critical role in providing mechanical engineering expertise across various single and multi-disciplinary design projects within our client"s core market sectors.

Key Responsibilities : - Develop comprehensive HVAC systems that comply with applicable codes and standards, ensuring high-quality and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with clients to create design concepts aligned with their goals and budget expectations.- Conduct HVAC design calculations, select appropriate equipment, and review calculations performed by other team members to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Assess existing HVAC systems to determine their functionality and suggest improvements where necessary.- Prepare detailed project specifications to guide the design and construction processes.
- Perform energy modeling and payback analysis to optimize building systems for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain project quality by coordinating with other trades and overseeing compliance with design standards.- Conduct site visits, perform investigations, and manage submittal processes during the construction phase.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to enhance project execution and professional growth.
Key Requirements : - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- Registered Professional Engineer () in at least one state, with credentials suitable for registration in additional states.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with a solid foundation in HVAC system design and project management.
- Proficiency in engineering calculation software, equipment selection programs, AutoCAD, and / or REVIT. Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications : - Prior experience working on healthcare projects is highly preferred, bringing additional value to our client's diverse project portfolio.
