Principal PMM
As an integral member of the Document Cloud Marketing team, you will drive product marketing for our Acrobat products. You will define key market opportunities for our product offerings, have a deep understanding of our customer and competitors.
You’ll partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Category Marketing, and Analytics. You will also understand and define key customer segments and help to define the product strategy.
As a top-tier marketer, you have deep customer appreciation for the customers, are data driven, and proficient in marketing frameworks, channels and tactics.
You understand software as a service and subscription models, excel at establishing relationships and credibility across diverse groups, a self-starter with strong initiative.
You demonstrate excellent communication and are a strong leader and motivator of teams.
Responsibilities
Own and drive Product Marketing work including messaging, customer insights, product strategy and competitive insights.
Work closely with the Product teams to identify and nurture new product opportunities for growth
Develop compelling value proposition messaging for products to convince them to try, buy, and adopt our software.
Partner across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product and analytics teams to define strategic opportunities and priorities. Own the communication and rollout.
Collaborate with category marketing, go-to-market execution teams, and central marketing teams to translate strategies into marketing initiatives.
Be a steward of the business, understanding financial impact, growth levers, dashboard.
Collaborate with research and insights teams to understand trends in the business and develop insights that translate into meaningful recommendations for growth
Understand trial strategies, lineup, promotion pricing
Requirements :
BS / BA with 10+ years of marketing experience, technology company and SaaS
experience preferred
Product Marketing experience, customer-first orientation, with experience with Consumer and / or small business preferred
People management experience
Analytical, well verse in dashboards and research. Utilizes and interprets insights to advise decisions and strategic direction
Demonstrates test & learn, and growth mentality
Demonstrated leadership success in multifaceted environments, rapidly anticipating and adapting to shifting priorities
Strong experience leading cross-functional multidisciplinary teams to drive high-impact business initiatives; highly collaborative work style
Proficient in market research and how to utilize research and data to advise marketing strategies
Strong ability to frame issues, drive appropriate analyses, and make clear, impactful recommendations
Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent program management skills
Global cultural awareness and experience with global teams
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
The pay range for this position is $116,400 $257,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
