DEPARTMENT : Tulalip Police Department
COMPENSATION : $30.23 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associates Degree inComputer Science, Business Administration or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) years’ experience in policy development.
- Four (4) years’ experience working in an office environment providing customer service
- Four (4) years’ experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information
- Four (4) years’ computer operations skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
SKILLS TESTING
- Typing 30 wpm
- Attention to Detail
REQUIRED LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS / PREREQUISITES
- WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
- Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Abstract Required)
- Must obtain CJIS security awareness level certification. *will allow six (6) months from start date to obtain.
- Must obtain THRP (Tribal Human Resource Professional) certification. *will allow One (1) year from start date to obtain.
- Must pass a criminal background investigation, national check on fingerprints, WASIC, and NCIC records.
- Must successfully pass a polygraph exam administered by a polygraph examiner designated by TPD.
- Must successfully pass a psychological evaluation by a psychologist designated by TPD.
- Must not have been convicted of any felony crime, domestic violence, theft or dishonesty.
- Must disclose any use, possession, or sale of any illegal drugs during lifetime.
- Must abide by the departments vaccination policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the Tulalip Police Department pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : This is a regular Full-Time position.
