Senior Engineering Project Manager - CQV

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Contractor to join our team, overseeing our pharmaceutical client's Engineering CQV initiatives for the Americas.

This role involves managing capital projects with budgets ranging from $5 million to $10 million, supporting Research Labs, Cold Storage, and Clinical R&D environments, with a focus on pilot sites and manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Leadership : Direct and manage CQV projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.
• Team Management : Lead a multidisciplinary team of 5-20 professionals, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
• Coordination and Planning : Organize project meetings, develop schedules, and allocate resources to maximize project efficiency.
• Quality and Compliance : Collaborate with internal Quality and Technical Operations teams to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
• Progress Reporting : Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, milestones, and completion to senior management.
• Facility Readiness : Oversee CQV activities for new facilities, including Laboratories, Cold Storage, and Chemical R&D spaces.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Experience : 5-10 + years extensive project management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector. Prior experience with this client on similar projects is preferred.
• Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage.
• Skills :
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in developing and following project plans and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of SOPs and quality management systems.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.

Additional Information :

• Project Duration : The role is a contract position expected to last 2-3 years.
• Work Environment : This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.
