Job Overview

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities include providing personalized coaching and constructive feedback to direct reports, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize results, and supervising the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient processes.

The Inside Sales Manager will cultivate a team culture of excellence, high performance and collaboration.

In addition to the above, the Senior Manager, Inside Sales will partner with Inside Sales leadership to establish and monitor Objectives and Key Results for the Inside Sales team, assist with onboarding new managers, and mentor and coach junior team leadership.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to achieve strong sales results through leading a team, sales and business acumen, proven ability to learn complex technical material (healthcare / diabetes preferred), and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role with internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, this position requires a high degree of customer interaction and communication to ensure the customer experience is positive and professional while consistently focusing on gaining customer buy-in of the Sequel portfolio.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Responsible for group operations including KPIs, metrics and reporting.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop Inside Sales Professionals.
  • Meet or exceed sales team goals.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the team to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture focused on responsiveness and problem resolution.
  • Provide effective coaching and motivating and insightful feedback.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures for issue resolution and escalation.
  • Handle and resolve escalated customer communications
  • Ensures adherence to Regulatory, quality and accreditation standards.

The Senior Manager, Inside Sales will have the following additional responsibilities :

  • Participate and provide feedback for special projects as needed.
  • Onboard, mentor and coach new managers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of inside sales or sales support experience. Sales management experience, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or consumer product related field preferred.

For the Senior Manager, Inside Sales :

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years of inside sales or sales support experience, plus 2+ years of sales management experience, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or consumer product related field.
  • Demonstrated history of growth and promotion through career and ability to take on special projects

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Inside Sales Management experience in a medical or health-related environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of diabetes and experience supporting customers with diabetes is preferred.
  • Experience providing remote support, particularly in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and operates with a sense of urgency and passion for achieving sales goals.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in the face of difficult and / or challenging situations.
  • Effectively handles multiple challenges or tasks through prioritization and multi-tasking.
  • Appropriately escalates issues.
  • Position remotely based, but requires occasional travel to home office in Manchester, NH.
