Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Ensure safety for all team members
- Provide sales coaching, motivation, and training to sales team
- Achieve sales forecast and quality goals
- Manage agent tenure through facilitating employee growth
- Review daily reports and identify performance issues
- Improve employee performance and sales processes
- Communicate with Area Sales Manager and other internal stakeholders as needed
- Attend meetings and actively participate
- Lead by example
- Maintain effective communication across teams including expectations, policies, and procedures
- Produce and maintain a shift schedule to ensure opportunities are staffed appropriately
- Verify and approve payroll hours and expense reports
- Track inventory and collect materials as needed
- Timely submit required reports with an emphasis on quality and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with the approved commission and bonus plans
- Work with stakeholders across departments to support sales efforts
- Occasionally perform event setup duties
- Ensure sales agents equipped with current tools and materials
- Support agent recruitment activities as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule; may work evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Some overtime required as special projects arise
- Remote administrative duties
- Occasional office duties
- Required travel to shifts at various venues both indoors and outdoors
- Working onsite at assigned location(s) or event(s) both indoors and outdoors
- Must have reliable transportation
Minimum Requirements
- Must be over 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of direct sales experience
- Proven ability to work within and lead a team
- Available to work evenings and / or weekends
- Previous customer service and sales experience
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Face-to-face customer service and / or sales experience
- Prior sales team management experience
- Experience selling energy and home services products
- Sincere desire to help protect the environment
- Strong understanding / knowledge of renewable energy
- Aptitude for understanding technology
- High level of personal integrity (honesty and reliability are a must)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with cloud-based web portals
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Possess the drive to achieve targeted goals
- Must understand and retain product knowledge
- Can solve problems, overcome objections, and think critically
- Comfortably communicates and follows sales processes
- Exhibits emotional intelligence
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to respond via text / phone to emergencies during atypical hours.
- Ability to continuously engage prospects and employees at various venues for several hours.
