Hours of Job
- FT - 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
- Every 3rd Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required
- New Hires will train with extended orientation tailored to the applicant.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
- Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
- Places the patient at the center of care practices.
- Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
- May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to distribution of staff, patients, and / or patient acuity.
Requirements
- Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotations.
- Must be willing to cross-train and float to Med Surg and ED settings.
Education / Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed RN. BSN preferred.
Experience
Previous experience preferred in critical care setting.
