Overview of the Payroll Specialist role :
- Process weekly payroll for 700 hourly and salary employees, including bonuses, wage garnishments, benefits deductions, and taxes
- Maintain payroll information, entering adjustments for wage garnishments, benefits deductions, taxes, etc and setting up new hires in the system
- Reconcile and approve invoices for benefits at month-end
- Create ad hoc reports and oversee payroll from beginning to end
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist :
- Minimum two years of high volume payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency with Excel : knowledge of VLOOKUP's and if / then statements
- Familiarity with Paylocity is a major plus!
The Payroll Specialist position is fully onsite.
The salary range is $47,840 to $54,080 annually.
