job summary : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

  • Generate and manage purchase orders to procure necessary parts from approved vendors
  • Maintain an updated database of approved vendors, ensuring only authorized vendors are utilized
  • Track and monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate with vendors for updates on order statuses, delays, and expected delivery times
  • Address and resolve issues or discrepancies with orders, such as shipping errors or delays
  • Evaluate vendors based on criteria like price, quality, reliability, and service
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with new and existing vendors to optimize cost savings and quality
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
  • Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Skilled in interpreting technical specifications and contracts
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities for evaluating vendor performance and resolving issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor terms
  • Able to build and maintain positive supplier relationships
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple orders and projects
