Position : Business Analyst

Location : Denver CO (Remote)

QUALIFICATIONS :

A bachelors degree in business IT / ComputerScience or a related field is standard Agile Business analysis Dataanalysis skills Jira Microsoft Excel Proven experience in elicitingrequirements and testing Solid experience in writing SQL queriesBasic knowledge in generating process documentation.

Duties andResponsibilities :

Gather business requirements from users and translate intofunctional and technical specifications Document business processesand provide best practices recommendations Work as a liaisonbetween the business and IT (QA test developers) Translate businessneeds into effective requirements statements Assess the businessimpact of requested and ongoing systems improvements Participate onproject teams to ensure that implementation satisfies the businessneed and maximizes process and system integration Participates inenterpriselevel project teams to identify and implement process andsystem improvements.

Works with stakeholders to identify improvements andassess their relative priority Determines the appropriate course ofaction for new requests : immediate resolution through existingfunctionality support request for quick implementation or as partof a larger project Utilize experience in business processes for ITsystems;

business case development; requirements gathering; gapanalysis; process mapping; solution design; and support Activelymanages customer expectations and communicates status of pendingprojects Tracks backlog of requests and works with customer toincorporate these into subsequent projects based on priority Provenability to take complex business requirements translating thoserequirements into functional requirements

Requirements :

Bachelors degree 7 years experienceas business analyst focused on enterprise applications and ITsystems Business process expertise desired in the areas ofAccounting and Billing Finance / Controlling HR / Benefits / PayrollProcurement Contract Management Quality Assurance Legal / RegulatoryExperience in business case development requirements gathering anddefinition gap analysis process mapping solution design Ability tohandle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamicdeadlineoriented environment Proven success as a business analystwith demonstrated ability to facilitate discussion and buildconsensus Ability to produce quality requirements documents processmaps use case diagrams.

Ability to use various tools such as Visio and power pointto graphically represent work flow diagrams process flow and otherinformation gathered.
