THE ROLE : The Program Manager for Refugee Resettlement Services will work independently and collaboratively to plan, implement, and manage the efficient operation of refugee and immigrant resettlement service programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Resource Management : Oversee budget allocation, grant utilization, and staffing decisions to ensure efficient and impactful services.
Strategic Planning : Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement plans that align with the organization's mission.
Program Development : In alignment with the established vision, the program manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program.
They will actively contribute to the planning, lead the execution, and evaluate programs to effectively meet the evolving needs of clients.
Community Engagement : Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, leaders, and organizations to foster collaboration and expand outreach efforts.
Impact Measurement : Utilize established metrics and track clear performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of resettlementprograms.
Ensure readiness for audits, accreditations, licenses, and certifications.
Advocacy and Representation : As directed, serve as a strong advocate for resettlement initiatives and represent the organization at public events and community gatherings.
Organizational Leadership : Foster a culture of collaboration and nurturing professional development within the team.
REQUIREMENTS :
Two years of management or supervisory experience in refugee resettlement services, social services, or other forms of community services / relevant experience
Bachelors in a related field; relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak in English
Reliable transportation for business purposes, including travel between work locations and community settings
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearanceto drive self / staff / clients in a personal, rental, and / or agency vehicle
Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles / barrier
Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
Standard LCSNW criminal clearance, including national sex offender. Motor vehicle records, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
