We are a rapidly growing company that highly values excellent customer service. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor with at least ten years of experience in the field and proficiency in the use of Mitchell-1 software.
We are seeking someone who has a strong teamwork mindset and an excellent attendance record.
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for :
- Greeting customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Handling customer complaints.
- Gathering information about their vehicles, scheduling service appointments, explaining the work to be performed, and providing the associated repair costs to the customer.
- Preparing a repair order that clearly outlines the time, cost, and labor estimates for the service and providing a complete and accurate written cost estimate for both labor and parts.
- Checking the progress of repairs throughout the day.
- Contacting customers regarding any changes in the estimate.
- Providing a detailed explanation of cost and time requirements and obtaining proper authorization
before performing any additional repairs.
- Reviewing repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization are correctly noted.
- Closing repair orders as appropriate.
- Implementing a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
- Handling telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress.
