Job Title : Mechanical System Design and Analysis Engineer 2
Location : Long Beach, California
Duration : 12 months
Join our dynamic Global Services team as a mid- or senior-level Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer. This role is integral to the support of the C-17 military cargo aircraft operated globally.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain mechanical systems drawings and specifications
- Support analysis and design reviews
- Follow documented processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical system commodities
- Perform technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection
- Support the sustainment, development, and documentation of aircraft systems, primarily mechanical system design
- Perform root cause analysis for field issues, provide corrective actions, and communicate with customers
Skills Required :
- Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience designing and supporting aircraft mechanical systems
- Skilled in verbal and written communications, including directly with customers
- Experience with Unigraphics NX modeling and Teamcenter drawing release system (preferred)
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance data products and documentation (preferred)
- Experience with C-17 or other military aircraft (preferred)
