That’s why we’re actively seeking a Sr Platform Administratorto join our team and take part in our people-first culture.

This role reports to the Head of Technology Platform Operations of the Workforce Benefits Division. This role can be on-site, hybrid or 100% remote (depending on location).

As a Platform Technology Lead, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of our SaaS Policy Administration platform and associated supporting platforms.

The Platform Technology Leadwill drive the delivery of the technical vision and roadmap across the platform while owning technical performance and system accountability, as well as playing a hands-on-keys role within the Platform.

The Platform Technology Lead will collaborate with delivery teams, business groups, project managers, operational leads, and vendors to support frequent requests and to ensure the seamless operation of our platform, compliance with industry regulations, and the delivery of exceptional end user experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong service delivery background, can work independently, is good with documentation, and is comfortable being the support contact for the administration of our SaaS Policy Administration System and Portals.

The successful candidate will have a wealth of tactics for troubleshooting andfacilitating effective issue triaging and incident management.

How you’ll help move us forward :

Platform Administration : Oversee the administration and day-to-day operation of a SaaS Policy Administration Systems.

This would include managing user roles and privileges, support & monitoring batch jobs, environmental monitoring, and other related tasks.

  • Supporting Platforms : Manage and maintain various supporting platforms, including but not limited to portals, customer management, and reporting systems.
  • System Integration : Collaborate with teams responsible for system integration, ensuring data flows smoothly between policy administration and supporting systems.
  • Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor the performance of platform and supporting systems, identifying, and addressing bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that platform and supporting systems adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive initiatives to enhance platform and supporting system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

The experience you bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+of experience in system administration, with a focus on system administration of a SaaS Policy Admin System
  • Experience supporting customer facing Portals, with a focus on our Employer, Employee, Broker and EOI Portals
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems, including cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience dealing with PHI / PII data
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Service Management experience (i.e. Incident, Problem, Change & Release)
  • Advanced knowledge of ADO, JIRA, Gitlab, Jenkins and a CI / CD framework
  • Familiarity with developing and using test automation frameworks or tools
  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g.XMatters, Grafana, Anypoint Insight, Splunk)
  • Serve as an escalation point for tier 1 & 2 for complex support issues
  • Experience in working in an Agile framework (i.e.SAFeAgile)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

Experience with EIS policy administration systems softwareis a plus

Proven experience influencing technical teams comprised of contractors and outsourced team members

Knowledge of ITIL framework primarily in Service Transition and Service Operations

Base Pay Range :

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.

Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$131,040.00 - $160,160.00
