Human Resources Coordinator
Job Overview :
The HR Coordinator manages various HR functions and supports employees, management, and the HR Manager. This role involves assisting with recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee development initiatives, ensuring an effective HR operation within the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Employee Communication : Communicate and respond urgently to inquiries from current and new employees, ensuring clarity and promptness.
- Collaboration with Managers : Interact regularly with agency hiring managers as well as the HR and Recruiting teams at Keystone Agency Partners to support recruitment efforts and performance management.
- Employee Relations : Assist with employee relations and resolve inquiries related to HR regulations and benefits.
- Recruitment Support : Coordinate with the recruitment division to support agency recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Onboarding and Offboarding : Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting initial orientations and ensuring I-9 compliance.
Assist with offboarding processes and finalizing termination paperwork.
- Documentation and Compliance : Ensure all required documents are submitted to the corporate office for personnel files, maintain organized and up-to-date HR files, and assist with payroll processes.
- Training Coordination : Organize and coordinate training sessions for new hires and agency-wide training initiatives, driving employee engagement and culture development.
- Employee Development Programs : Manage employee development programs and continuing education initiatives, including tracking vacation and sick leave and collecting time and attendance records.
- Event Organization : Assist in organizing and coordinating company events and employee licensing classes.
- Miscellaneous Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support the day-to-day operations of HR functions.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Human Resources, or related field
- Prior experience in Human Resources is highly desired
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with HR software systems
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in HR record keeping and documentation
- Strong communication skills, both in written form (email and document writing) and verbal
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize work to meet expected and routine deadlines in a fast-paced business environment without oversight
Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm (Hybrid Work Schedule)
