The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Neuro-Interventional Radiology Lab consists 2 Neuro IR procedural rooms. There are approximately 10 cases per day across both areas.

Radiology Nurses provide care to inpatients and outpatients across the life spectrum undergoing studies and procedures in all imaging modalities.

Staff also oversee clinical management of patients intra procedure and are responsible for administration of moderate sedation.

Care includes : IV starts, central line access, general anesthesia, patient preparation, procedural sedation, management of emergency events, and maintenance of a safe patient environment.

Shifts : 10 hour rotating shifts; 7am to 5 : 50pm and 9am - 7 : 30 pm. No weekends or holidays ; limited on call requirements

Qualifications :

• Associates Degree from Accelerated Nursing Program required. BSN / MSN matriculation required within 1 year and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training required
• Acute care expereince
